FOGS - A DECADE OF SUPPORT
TO THE GALLERY AND VISUAL ARTS
The Friends of the Manning Regional Art Gallery Inc (FOGS)
proudly announce the launch of its new look website, fogsmanningvalley.com.au, launched on Monday February 24, 2014
This follows on from the original website which went live 5 years ago
which provided the Manning Regional Art Gallery and FOGS a web presence for the
first time.
FOGS is also proud to announce that it has provided
approximately $2,900 to the Manning Regional Art Gallery to assist with the
development of its own website, manningregionalartgallery.com.au,
which should go live in the near future.
This funding, most of which was used to determine the scope
and design for the new Gallery website, was part of a $10,000 funding
commitment made by FOGS to Greater Taree City Council in a Business Plan
presented to Council in June 2013.
In accepting our Business Plan for the future sustainable
growth of the Gallery, Council committed funding for the employment of an
additional 10 hours per week casual position at the Gallery, with the aim of
increasing income from Gallery activities to partially offset Gallery operating
costs, thus ensuring the future sustainability of our Regional Art Gallery.
